To Bear You Up
At times, especially in the quiet, darkness of night, it feels like everything depends on me, like I’m all alone, like I’m not enough for what is required of me. As I cry to my Heavenly Father, I’m immediately, lovingly reminded that I’m never alone. He’s there. I can trust Him. I can give it all to Him. During those dark moments, He also reminds me to let others help, as well.

I Witness
I love the feeling of starting a new year. It feels full of hope, excitement, possibilities; a clean slate on which to create, to live, to become whatever we choose. Plus, the number 2020 is just fun. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints celebrate an anniversary this year, as well. We gratefully look back to the year 1820, when Joseph Smith, a 14-year-old boy, knelt in a grove of trees to wholeheartedly ask God about truth.

Temporary Goodbyes
I’ve had sweet experiences in my life which strengthen my testimony of a life after this one, in Heavenly Father’s plan for His children. I’ve felt comfort, help, and messages of love from family members who have left this earth life.

I’m Jen, mother of 7 amazing humans, Gran of 5 (so far), divorce survivor, homebody, health seeker, and devoted follower of Jesus. This is the place where I share how the hiccups and detours in the road of my life strengthen my hope in Christ.
